Thumbelina
is pretty and kind – and as tiny as your thumb. Flowers tower above her and
birds can carry her on their backs. When she’s abandoned in the outside world,
she faces some very big adventures indeed. (Back Cover)
Do you know “Thumbelina”? I heard it, but I
don’t read it. So, I read it for the first time. By the way, there is its story
in Japan, too and it called “Oyayubi-hime” in there. Also, she is not bigger
than a thumb. There is a scene which Thumbelina took care of a week bird. So, I
thought that she is very kind for everything. Also, she is very cute, so she
was loved by many animals. At last, she was a fateful encounter with king of
the Flowers. What would happen to them? I like this book because it picture are
very beautiful and it was easy to read this book!
