BR 09: The Lucky Whale

Have you ever seen a whale? I have seen it by TV, but I have never seen it from such a close distance. This is a whale story and Troy and Roy help it. Also, this story doesn’t have any section, so I will introduce a little about this story today.

 

There’s a whale on the beach. “We need help”, Tory and Roy said. “We can’t get the whale back into the water. It’s too big for me to pull it. If we don’t get help, the whale will die.” “I’ll get some people to join us and help,” said Mum. Dad and the boys got some water in the buckets. They put the water on the whale. Then Mum came with lots of people. So, may they help a whale?

 

I thought that helping some animals is good, but, on the other hand, I think that it is not easy. However I think help some animals as possible.

BR 08: Milo’s Toothache

I read a book today which is called Milo’s Toothache.

When Milo Pig gets a toothache, his friend Dan insists on coming to the dentist with him so Milo won’t be scared. But Dan is afraid he will get scared, so he invites Amy to come too. And she invites more friends. Milo is the only one who isn’t scared!(Back cover)

I read this book and remembered my childhood. I hate dentists from my childhood. So I always I annoyed my mother well because I was blubbering at that time when I had to go to there. I hate smell and sounds of dentists. How about you?? Moreover I received regular outpatient treatment once several months so that I don’t have a cavity when I was an elementary school. So, I don’t have a cavity several years. By the way, an end of this story was unexpected.

BR 07: A Dog Named Sam

I read a book which is called A dog named Sam.

Sam loves to fetch. He fetches socks. He fetches shoes. He fetches the neighbor’s clothesline! Then Mother scolds, “No, Sam!” Whether he’s trying to find a place to swim or a time to sleep, Sam is almost always in the doghouse!(Back cover)

 

This story has three sections. So, I will introduce about I thought interested section in particularly.

Sam heard the newspaper land on the porch. He fetched it. “What a good dog!” said Father. He patted Sam’s head and left for work. And Sam fetched every newspaper from every porch on the block. “No, Sam!” said mother. She had to return every newspaper to every porch on the block. Mother was not happy.

 

Sam is very trouble maker in this family, but I thought that Sam is very cute dog. I have ever had a hamster. However I have never had a dog, so I don’t know difficulty about having a dog. Although I want to have a dog someday!

Halloween☆

Hi! Today, I will take about Halloween. This blog wrote in November last year, but I didn’t update it on my blog. So, I will update it today.

 

Halloween’s History

The origin of Halloween dates back to 2000 years ago in the ancient Celts. The ancient Celts set October 31 as the end of the year is the festival of the dead. This is called in Japan, what was a day like New Year’s Eve and the tray put together.

Halloween’s costume

The first thing I heard that Halloween images, isn’t disguise? This disguise means to surprised the demons prowl around the house. The children wear different costumes, for example witch, character, ghost etc…

 

Trick or treat !!

Trick or Treat is a word to say in the front door when the children visit the house at night. “Trick” mean “naughty” ,“Treat” mean “candy”, “Trick or Treat” mean you don’t give me some candy otherwise I play a trick. Halloween night, the children at the front door “Trick or Treat” that you hear a voice, “Happy Halloween!”, Saying let me put the candy on the market basket.

 

Japan’s Halloween

In Japan, Halloween was known by American movie and TV. Kawasaki Halloween parade is the most famous parade in Japan. In Japan, still Halloween isn’t more general than Christmas and Valentine’s Day, but it spread such as, commerce facilities every year. In Tokyo Disney land holds Disney Halloween from September. The guests are disguise as a Disney’s character.

 

About  Jack o’lantern

The past, a man named Jack. He was heavy drinking and a swindler. But he couldn’t go to Heaven, because he was bad conduct and he trapped the devil. Also, he couldn’t go to hell. So, his soul wandered. The devil refused him, but the devil gave him light to wander into darkness. And to burn a little longer that day, he put it into a hollowed turnip. That’s why the first a turnip was symbol of Halloween. This is Jack O’lantern. But, it was made from abundant pumpkin by American people. Since then, pumpkin is symbol of Halloween.

My favorite 15: Idol group

Hi!! I want to take about the last of my favorite today. I have talked about girl’s idol group which is Momoiro-clover before, but I have one my favorite idol group, too. It is Kanjani ∞. It is one of the groups in Johnny’s. Also, the members are Subaru Shibutani (red), Ryo Nishikido (yellow), Ryuhei Maruyama (orange), Syota Yasuda (blue), Tadayoshi Okura (green), Shingo Murakamni (purple) and You Yokoyama (black). And they each have member color like a phrase in parentheses. I became their fan when I was a junior high school student. I liked a lot of entertainer at the time, but I have been cheering only Kanjani ∞ now. They are very cheerful and amusing, so they always give a lot of their fans sprits. Moreover they can play the musical instrument each, so they are very cool and their band songs are very cool, too! By the way, they formed from Kansai in 2002, but they couldn’t come out soon. So, they tried activity hard and could come out all over Japan at length in 2004. And they met for eight year anniversary from debut in 2012. So, it was very gorgeous year and they often appeared on television. I think that they are rising in popularity more and more. At the end of the year, they took part in Ko-haku for the first time. I wanted to watch it, but I couldn’t watch it because I had part-time job that day. So, I watched it recording at the parent’s house. Also, I went to their concert for the first time last month and it was very, very excited and they are very cool!!! It was great day for me and I’ll never forget it. I want to go to concert someday!

MR 06: glee

Do you know glee series? I watched it yesterday, so I will take about this first episode. 

This series has been broadcasting since 2009 by The Fox Broadcasting Company and it is TV drama series in America. This is one of the TV dramas that are famous in America, so there are seasons 4 now. Also, this term is a music and comedy drama. So, this drama covers a lot of famous songs in 60s~90s and it is highlight of a TV. By the way, do you know what does the word ‘glee’ mean? I don’t know it, so I looked up its mean in the internet. Its mean is to free oneself and to be delighted.

 

<Main characters and outline >

Will Schuester is a teacher of Spanish in William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio. He becomes an advisor of new life glee club from the experience that was the star of the school glee part for school days. Next, Rachel Berry is main character and she is a too self-conscious school girl dreaming of a star. Also, she is in one-sided love to a popular person fin of the school. Finn Hudson is American football quarterback of the popular person. He was seen by Will when he sang while taking a shower. So he is persuaded by Will that he will do works at a glee club and an American football department. Emma Pillsbury is counselor student and is a good adviser of the Will. In fact, she has love to him. Also, she is extreme fastidiousness.

 

The glee of McKinley High School in Ohio dominated the seat of the top in the former chorus world. However it dislikes everybody now. Will undertook a difficult position to bring former glory to glee once again with Emma. So, they start to new glee!!

 

<Impression>

I have ever heard word as ‘glee’, but I watched this TV drama for the first time. I think that it look like High School Musical because it term is musical. Moreover, I thought that a personality of Rachel in glee look like personality of Sharpay in HSM. And Cory Monteith is very cool! I looked up about him by Wikipedia, so he is thirty years old now! I was very surprised at it because I thought that he is twenties. Also, I could enjoy glee because I like HSM. Also, characters of glee have very clear-cut personality. So, various problems happen, but they cooperate and overcame it. I wanted a thing to be absorbed in high school days like glee because I didn’t join club in high school. Also, I became want to sing a song with glee!

BR 06: The Carnival

It wasn’t a good day because Mouse and Jojo had to look after Pip. Moreover Pip was in a bad mood. He was crying all day long. “Shall we take him to the park?” said Sam to Pip. However, Pip wailed “Nooooo!” and he pushed the magic button. They surprised at this situation and Mouse wanted to return to where it was. However Pip wanted to stay here. Strange street was having a carnival and a clown gave Pip a red balloon. He smiled at it. Moreover the children climbed on the float and the crowds cheered as they made their way up the street. All children in carnival were laughing. And “Goodbye” shouted everyone. However Pip’s lovely red balloon had gone, and he started to crying again.

 

This story was just like a Disney land because there was a carnival. So, it was very interesting!!
