First we plant seeds. Then we water them. Before
long, the pumpkins start to grow. They get bigger and bigger. When they are
ready, we pick them. Now we can make pumpkin pie and jack-o’-lanterns. Planting
a garden is so much fun! (back cover)
This is story growing for the pumpkins
through a year. It is winter now, but tow month ago is October. There are Halloween
in October and it famous jack-o’-lanterns. So, many children of this story have
grown a lot of splendid pumpkins. Growing vegetables is very difficult because I
had grown vegetables in school’s field when I was an elementary schoolchild. However,
I could feel sense of accomplishment when I harvested them with my class mate. And
it was very delicious. The children of this story should be feel delicious
pumpkins. This story made me remember for my memories.
